8. Before, During & After the Races

People usually says " try to relax before the race, because the worst thing you can do is put more pressure on your self . The way to be more confident is by training harder, and when the race comes you will know that you have done everything you could and whatever happens, happens."
For me the moments before the race are extremely special, it is when  I am dreaming about do my best time, people around me warming up, stretching, and waiting impatiently to start running. At this point my heart is always about to explode.

There are very important things I have to do before my races, which at some point is becoming a life style. It is taking care of what you eat, what you drink, how you workout... In my case this challenge has been also a journey because I have changed pretty much my life style.

I will share details of my diet and training later with you....

During the races every single factor affect the performance; the weather, humidity, altitude, how hilly or not the route could be.

I drink water approximate every 2 miles, and so far it is working for me.

And after the races I stretch my calf, and drink water, I try to eat a banana..... and as soon as possible I will go for a visit Dr. D for my fixing time.
